Our Praise & Worship Ministry has many opportunities to serve at Loris First Baptist Church:

Praise and Worship Team

Do you play a musical instrument? Do you love to sing? Do you have musical talent? Would you like to serve the Lord by using your musical talents? Then we would love to have you on our Praise and Worship team!

Adult Choir rehearses each Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

We would love to have Instrumentalists!  Brass, Woodwinds, Strings, Drums, Percussion, Guitars, and Bass are all welcome to join us.

Usher/Greeter Teams

Do you feel lead to be an usher? a greeter?

The usher and the greeter have the opportunity to impact the lives of current members, as well as visitors, by being the first contact for everyone as they join us for Sunday School and in our worship services. As a greeter, you set the spiritual climate by presenting a joyful attitude, making others feel welcome, accepted, recognized, and comfortable, and expressing God’s love through Jesus Christ to all attending.

What does a church greeter do?

A church greeter is the first and last person people see when visiting a church. The church greeter is the face of any ministry, which makes it one of the most important jobs in the church. The greeter welcomes regular members and visitors with a smile, hug, or handshake as they arrive. It is an opportunity to express God’s love through Christ and help set the tone of the upcoming worship service.

Audio Visual Team

Do you have audio visual experience? Would you like to learn? We have an audio visual team every Wednesday and Sunday during our services that live stream and manages the sound board and cameras. If you feel you would like to serve in this ministry, we would love to have you join our team. Call the church office for more information.
